The Collingwood Musical

Kelly Hannigan, a local music promoter, and Moguls Bar team up each year to showcase local musical talent. This 5 day event featuring over 60 groups and individuals donates the entrance and draw monies from the event to the Optimist Club of Collingwood to continue their support of youth music in Collingwood. The funds are currently being used to build a recording studio at the New Collingwood Library so that young musicians and old can cut a demo tape and hopefully start their musical career.

Jay's Mart, Convenience Store

For the past 10 years we have partnered with Jay’s Mart (located at 501 Hume Street) for the sale of Break Open Tickets. The profits from these sales goes to assist youth activities in the Collingwood area, including park development, organized sport and music programs, scholarships & leadership programs.

Leisure Time Services: The Curling Club

The Town of Collingwood has been a 20+ year partner in "The Mother of All Yard Sales" by providing space at the Curling Club for this spring event. Previously the Town had spent $100s of thousands in large item spring clean-up.

The BIA of Collingwood

The BIA of Collingwood has been a great partner of the "World Bed Race Championships" sponsored by the Collingwood Optimist Club and held in the middle of our heritage downtown, on Hurontario Street, annually.

Georgian Triangle Anglers Association

The Anglers Association has been an active partner in both our Optimist Kids Fish Derby and The Collingwood Optimist Winter Fish Derby.  For more information go to the Georgian Triangle Anglers Association website.
